Suez Sells German Water Utility To Remondis For $127M

Law360, New York (December 8, 2011, 4:16 PM EST) -- French waste and water utility company Suez Environnement has reached a deal to sell its German water and sanitation services unit, Eurawasser, to the Remondis Aqua Group for €95 million ($126.7 million), the company said Thursday.

Berlin-based Eurawasser manages water and sanitation concession contracts, management and maintenance contracts and equity interests in public-private companies, according to Suez Environnement. It boasts more than 800,000 customers and generated €70 million in revenue in 2010.
