Chinese Cos. Dumped Steel Cylinders: Commerce

Law360, New York (December 12, 2011, 2:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Thursday preliminarily determined that imports of high-pressure steel cylinders from China were sold in the U.S. at less than fair prices.

As a result of an anti-dumping duty investigation, Commerce preliminarily determined that Chinese producers have sold high-pressure steel cylinders at dumping margins ranging from 5.08 percent to 26.23 percent.

Commerce found that targeted dumping occurred by Chinese manufacturers in an estimated $48.8 million of high-pressure steel cylinders imports into the U.S. in 2010.
