Canadian Telecoms Buy Into Leafs, Raptors Owner For $1B

Law360, New York (December 9, 2011, 6:46 PM EST) -- Canadian telecommunications giants BCE Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc. are buying a majority stake in the owner of the National Hockey League's Toronto Maple Leafs and the National Basketball Association’s Toronto Raptors for more than $1 billion, the companies announced Friday.
