Lawmakers Question Facebook’s Wordy Privacy Policy

Law360, New York (December 9, 2011, 6:19 PM EST) -- A bipartisan group of lawmakers sought answers Thursday from Facebook Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg regarding the company's privacy practices, questioning why the site's privacy policy was longer than the U.S. Constitution.

Reps. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla.; Ed Markey, D-Mass.; Joe Barton, R-Texas; and Diana DeGette, D-Colo., sent a letter to the social network's founder, saying they need more information on Facebook policies in the wake of a landmark settlement with the Federal Trade Commission over privacy issues.
