Court Warns Of Sanctions In Honda Engine Dispute

Law360, New York (July 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has threatened to punish American Honda Motor Co. Inc. and a recreational vehicle parts supplier accused of infringing American Honda’s engine patents for disagreeing on nearly two dozen claim construction terms.

Judge Jeffrey S. White had issued an earlier order that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California would review no more than 10 disputed terms and asked American Honda and Coast Distribution System Inc. why he should not impose sanctions.
