Monsanto Workers Win Class Cert. In Wage Action

Law360, New York (December 13, 2011, 3:41 PM ET) -- A Missouri federal judge on Monday certified a class of Monsanto Co. engineering employees, saying their allegations that the seed giant forced employees to work off the clock without pay carried sufficient weight to warrant certification.

U.S. District Judge John A. Ross granted the employees’ motion to certify a class of current and former Monsanto employees who worked in the Creve Coeur, Mo., facility’s automation and engineering department within the past two years.
