Church & Dwight Must Cede Info In FTC Probe: DC Circ.

Law360, New York (December 13, 2011, 5:01 PM ET) -- The D.C. Circuit on Tuesday rejected Church & Dwight Co. Inc.'s challenge of a ruling requiring it to provide information on noncondom products — like baking soda and toothpaste — to the Federal Trade Commission in a probe of possible monopolistic practices in the condom market.

Church & Dwight, which makes Trojan brand condoms, unsuccessfully appealed a lower court's October 2010 order granting the FTC's bid for enforcement of a subpoena and civil investigative demand issued in furtherance of the condom monopoly investigation.
