Carlyle Group Nabs 42% Stake In Saudi Fast Food Co.

Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 12:12 PM ET) -- The Carlyle Group LP has purchased a 42 percent stake in a Saudi Arabia-based food franchise operator that runs Domino's Pizza and Wendy's restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa, the private equity firm said Wednesday.

The firm's stake in Alamar Foods will also give it access to the company's food processing division Premier, which supplies fast food outlets, according to Carlyle's statement. It did not disclose the terms of the deal.
