Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 3:36 PM ET) -- Thomson Reuters Corp. has proposed to settle a European Commission antitrust investigation by making it easier for its customers to switch providers of real-time market data, the commission said Wednesday.
The move by the financial news and data giant is aimed at resolving the EC's concerns that its licensing practices in relation to Reuters Instrument Codes, or RICs, which are used to access real-time financial market data, may be in breach of European Union antitrust rules, according to the commission.
