Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 6:08 PM ET) -- A Michigan federal judge on Wednesday awarded Marathon Petroleum Co. LP $6.5 million in a suit alleging defunct Future Fuels of America LLC breached fuel distribution and supply contracts and then continued to unlawfully use Marathon trademarks.
U.S. District Judge Patrick J. Duggan partially granted Texas-based Marathon’s motion seeking partial summary judgment on its breach of contract claims, saying fuel distributor Future Fuels had not shown that it had fulfilled its payment obligations.
