Key Witness' Testimony Partly Stricken In Gabon FCPA Case

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 2:22 PM ET) -- The Washington federal judge overseeing the trial of six military equipment industry executives accused of attempting to bribe Gabonese officials junked part of a key government cooperator's testimony Thursday.

Prosecutors allege John Mushriqui, Jeana Mushriqui, R. Patrick Caldwell, Stephen Giordanella, Greg Godsey and Marc Morales tried to bribe Gabonese defense minister Ali Bongo in order to win contracts to provide armor, weapons and military gear, in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
