Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 3:36 PM ET) -- Patent holding company Round Rock Research LLC went on the patent infringement warpath Wednesday, launching nine suits against several big-name defendants — including Macy's Inc., Gap Inc., J.C. Penney Co. Inc. and PepsiCo Inc. — over radio frequency identification technology.
Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based Round Rock filed the suits in Delaware federal court, asserting five patents and also targeting American Apparel Inc., Fruit of the Loom Inc., Hanesbrands Inc., Dole Food Co. Inc. and VF Corp.
