Weil Gotshal Hikes Bonuses To $42.5K To Match Peers

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 2:26 PM EST) -- In response to rival firms topping its year-end bonus payout for its most senior associates, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP told Law360 on Thursday that it will bump bonuses for eighth-year associates and above to up to $42,500, matching the scale established by competitors.

Weil's original bonus scale, confirmed by the firm Monday, topped out at $37,500 for associates from the class of 2003. More senior associates would be awarded bonuses on a case-by-case basis.
