Calif. Plaintiff Can't Crash NJ Bayer Probiotics Actions

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 6:06 PM ET) -- A plaintiff in a California proposed class action claiming Bayer HealthCare LLC falsely advertised the benefits of its digestive health supplements on Thursday failed in her bid to intervene in three similar New Jersey proposed class actions in order to dismiss or transfer them.

According to the suits, Bayer has marketed its Phillips Colon Health Probiotic products as scientifically proven to improve digestive function, despite having performed no clinical testing to back its claims.
