Law360, New York (December 16, 2011, 1:22 PM ET) -- The European Commission launched a formal antitrust probe Friday into how Honeywell International Inc. used its patents for a new, environmentally safer refrigerant for car air conditioners as well as the company's joint venture with DuPont Co. to develop the chemical.
