WilmerHale Atty, 2 Others Tapped For US Privacy Board

Law360, New York (December 16, 2011, 6:17 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama on Thursday nominated a WilmerHale partner, a judge and another high-profile lawyer for the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, in a highly anticipated move to staff the long-inactive board.

The nominees are WilmerHale privacy and data security partner David Medine, U.S. Chamber of Commerce attorney Rachel Brand and Judge Patricia Wald, who previously served as chief judge for the D.C. Circuit.
