Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 5:27 PM ET) -- Acacia Research Corp.’s subsidiary Chalumeau Power Systems LLC ended its patent dispute with tech giant Cisco Systems Inc. and its unit Cisco-Linksys LLC on Friday, the latest parties to settle in a fight over remote device detection technology.
U.S. District Judge Richard G. Andrews ordered the patent infringement claims brought by Chalumeau dismissed with prejudice, while Cisco’s counterclaims of patent invalidity were ordered dismissed without prejudice, according to the order.
