Ericsson, Samsung Settle Patent Suits In Global Deal

Law360, New York (July 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. have asked a Texas court to dismiss two patent suits involving more than forty mobile communication patents, just two days after Samsung and Ericsson reached a global cross licensing deal and agreed to settle all pending patent litigation between them.
