Judge Won't Erase HP Hard Drive Suit

Law360, New York (December 16, 2011, 8:27 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday preserved most of the claims in a proposed class action against Hewlett-Packard Co. and others over a portable hard drive that allegedly doesn't operate as advertised, but questioned the plaintiff's motives in filing suit.
