Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 7:30 PM ET) -- Kyocera Corp. lodged a patent infringement suit Monday against Eastman Kodak Co., claiming the photo and print giant infringed its patent covering inkjet technology.
In a complaint filed in California federal court, Kyocera claims a head component of Kodak inkjet printers infringes a patent that resulted from more than 50 years of Kyocera's research and development efforts.
Japan-based Kyocera is asking the court to enjoin Kodak from producing, importing or selling the allegedly infringing inkjet component.
