Nordic Capital Bids $292M For Swedish Software Firm Orc

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 2:07 PM EST) -- Cidron Delfi Intressenter AB, backed by private equity firm Nordic Capital, on Monday announced a $292 million bid for Orc Group AB, a provider of software and services for financial services firms.

Orc’s board recommended the all-cash offer to shareholders, which represents a 52 percent premium over the company’s three-month average stock price, in a statement Monday. Cidron said it would pay $12.47 per share for Orc, which markets its software to traders and brokerage houses.
