Sabre's Coverage Row With AIG Unit Sent To Federal Court

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 7:19 PM ET) -- An American International Group Inc. subsidiary on Monday removed to Texas federal court Sabre Inc.'s suit seeking coverage for defense costs it has incurred in two antitrust suits filed by American Airlines Inc. against the airline ticket distributor.

The Insurance Co. of the State of Pennsylvania removed the suit — originally filed Nov. 28 in Tarrant County, Texas, court — to the Northern District of Texas, saying the two companies were headquartered in different states, justifying a venue change.
