Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 7:33 PM ET) -- A man and a woman who pled guilty to plotting a foiled scheme to export 22 U.S. fighter jet engines to Iran were sentenced Friday in Florida federal court to two years each in prison.
Carlos Alfredo Pantoja-Coral, 57, and Amparo Echeverri Valdes, 54, had pled guilty in September to one count of conspiracy for fraudulently trying to export J85 engines from the U.S. to Iran, a country embargoed by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, according to the order by U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan....
