Carnival Can't Hop Aboard Airlines' Antitrust Settlement

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 5:13 PM EST) -- A California district judge on Monday grounded Carnival PLC’s bid for inclusion in a $175 million class action antitrust settlement against British Airways PLC and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd., saying Carnival hadn’t shown the airlines had stuck the cruise line with illegally fixed fuel surcharges.
