Judge Pulls The Plug On Coffee Machine Class Action

Law360, Washington (December 21, 2011, 5:13 PM ET) -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters on Tuesday escaped a proposed New Jersey class action accusing it of misrepresenting the performance and durability of multiple single-cup brewing systems and failing to take adequate corrective measures.

Named plaintiff Philip Green contended in his April complaint that, because of defective components, the coffee machines at issue brew a lesser amount of coffee than the companies have represented, compromising the quality of the beverage.
