EQT Pays $304M For Norway's No. 2 Telecom

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 3:49 PM ET) -- Swedish private equity firm EQT Partners AB has acquired Ventelo Holdings SA, Norway's second largest data and telecommunications company, for an equity value of 1.8 billion Norwegian kroner ($304 million), the firm said Wednesday.

Stockholm-based EQT will buy Ventelo from a group of owners including Norwegian power companies BKK AS, Toms Kraft AS and Agder Energi AS, the fund said in a statement.
