Primary Global Sales Exec Gets 2.5 Years Over Stock Tips

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 5:06 PM ET) -- James Fleishman, a former sales manager at expert networking firm Primary Global Research LLC, was sentenced Wednesday to 30 months in prison for helping to connect hedge fund traders to tech company employees who sold inside information.

“Mr. Fleishman is no bit player,” U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff said at a sentencing hearing. “The scope of his activities was considerable.”
