Mayer Brown Hires IP Litigator From Cooley Godward's Palo Alto Group

Law360, New York (February 2, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- Intellectual property litigator Brandon Baum has left Cooley Godward LLP to join Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP as a partner in its Palo Alto office.

Baum represents clients in telecommunications, computer hardware and software, the firm said. He has focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on patent infringement, trade secret, misappropriation and trademark infringement cases in telecommunications, microprocessors, disk drives, the internet, and electronic games and software.

He also serves as an adjunct professor of patent litigation at Hastings College of Law.
