Gateway Reaches Deal To Unplug Faulty PC Class Action

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 8:37 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Thursday approved a settlement ending a proposed class action against Gateway Inc. over allegedly defective computers, five months after she sent the claims of several named plaintiffs to arbitration.

The parties agreed to a joint stipulation to dismiss the suit with prejudice, which was signed by U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton Tucker.
