Rothstein Says TD Bank Could Have Stopped His Scheme

Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 3:07 PM EST) -- Toronto-Dominion Bank played a critical role in Ponzi scheme architect Scott Rothstein's $1.4 billion fraud and could have easily halted the scheme by stopping a string of questionable transactions from an account controlled by Rothstein, the convicted schemer said earlier this month.
