Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 2:30 PM ET) -- Canada's National Energy Board approved Enbridge Inc.'s CA$180 million (US$176.6 million) Bakken Pipeline project to extend an oil transport line from North Dakota to refineries in Canada and the U.S., the regulatory body said Thursday.
The Calgary, Alberta-based energy board said there is enough commercial interest for Canadian company Enbridge to support the 76.7-mile extension of a pipeline in the Bakken and Three Forks Formations in Montana and North Dakota, according to a statement.
