Law360, New York (January 04, 2012, 6:50 PM ET) -- Research In Motion Ltd., the maker of BlackBerry smartphones, confirmed Wednesday it would strive to uphold the privacy of a former Pakistani ambassador to the U.S. and a businessman mired in a controversy over a secret memo to the Obama administration.
A judicial commission in Pakistan ordered RIM on Monday to hand over Blackberry communications between ex-ambassador Husain Haqqani and Mansoor Ijaz, a Pakistani-American businessman, according to The News International, a Pakistani newspaper.
