Kirkland Helps PE Firm Francisco Acquire Manufacturer

Law360, New York (January 5, 2012, 3:38 PM EST) -- American Industrial Partners will sell process tools producer Ichor Systems to California-based private equity firm Francisco Partners and flow control equipment manufacturer Brooks Instrument to an undisclosed buyer, it said Thursday.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Ichor, which New York-based private equity firm AIP formed in 2009 from Celerity Inc., makes a variety of process tools, gas delivery modules and chemical delivery modules to equipment manufacturers in the capital equipment and semiconductor industries.
