Law360, New York (January 05, 2012, 8:02 PM ET) -- Positive Technologies Inc. on Thursday settled a patent dispute with Gateway Inc. and Acer America Corp., ending their involvement in a California suit accusing nearly a dozen companies of using Positive Technologies' liquid crystal display technology without permission.
U.S. District Judge Susan Illston approved the two dismissals with prejudice, stipulating that each party would bear its own costs and attorneys' fees. Attorneys for Positive Technologies, Acer and Gateway declined to comment on the terms of the settlement.
