Law360, New York (January 05, 2012, 7:22 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday upheld a lower court's 2009 approval of a $20 million settlement of a breach of contract and false advertising class action over Google Inc.'s billing practices for its AdWords advertising service, denying an objector's request to reopen the settlement process.
A three-judge panel said U.S. District Judge James Ware hadn't abused his discretion when he entered his final judgment approving both the settlement and the attorneys' fees in September 2009.
