Law360, Washington (January 05, 2012, 8:06 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Thursday signed off on a consent decree outlining BNSF Railway Co. and Hercules Inc.'s liability for cleaning up toxic contamination at a site in Shafter, Calif., under which they will pay the state $1.5 million for cleanup costs incurred.
