Travelocity Departs From Website Sorting Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 06, 2012, 4:49 PM ET) -- Online travel agent Travelocity.com LP on Thursday became the second company to exit a suit in Delaware federal court accusing Amazon.com and others of infringing a patent that allows website users to sort and display products by category.

U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark on Thursday signed off on a stipulation dismissing Travelocity with prejudice from the suit lodged by patent holder Execware LLC. Co-defendant CDW Corp. exited the suit Dec. 20, when Judge Stark approved a similar stipulation to dismiss with prejudice.
