Libel Claims Live On In Fight Over Farrah Fawcett Portrait

Law360, New York (January 06, 2012, 5:35 PM ET) -- A California state judge on Wednesday rejected a TV producer's bid to strike down a suit from a former beau of Farrah Fawcett's who is accusing the producer of spreading lies about his supposed theft of a portrait of the deceased actress.

Superior Court Judge Linda K. Lefkowitz denied producer Craig Nevius' motion to strike actor Ryan O'Neal's anti-defamation claims on anti-strategic lawsuit against public participation principles, saying the evidentiary record supported the suit.
