ComEd To Pour $2.6B Into Ill. Electric Grid Upgrade

Law360, New York (January 06, 2012, 6:31 PM ET) -- Electricity provider Commonwealth Edison Co. will spend $2.6 billion over the next decade to improve electrical systems and add a new digital smart grid in northern Illinois, according to an infrastructure investment plan filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission on Friday.
