First Wind Nets $96M In Financing For Hawaii Wind Plants

Law360, New York (January 6, 2012, 7:53 PM EST) -- First Wind has closed or is close to solidifying $96 million in financing for two wind projects in Hawaii, according to a report Friday.

KeyBank NA and Union Bank NA provided the debt for the wind power projects in Kaheawa and Kawailoa, Project Finance reported. Representatives for First Wind and the banks did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday.
