Bank Of The West, Others Face IP Suits Over Mobile Apps

Law360, New York (January 09, 2012, 5:15 PM ET) -- Bank of the West was hit with a suit in Texas federal court Monday accusing its smartphone application of infringing four patents covering secure transfer of valuable data, just days after Starbucks Corp., Capital One Financial Corp. and Expedia Inc. faced similar suits.
