Resort Mogul Sues Sundance, Filmmaker For Defamation

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 7:58 PM EST) -- The CEO of Westgate Resorts Ltd. sued the Sundance Institute Inc. in Florida federal court on Tuesday over publicity materials for a documentary about his stalled efforts to construct a massive private residence, saying in his complaint that he was falsely portrayed as “essentially broke and out of business.”
