More Plead Guilty In Securities Scam

Law360, New York (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three people affiliated with defunct viatical and life settlement company Mutual Benefits Corp. have pled guilty for their role in defrauding investors out of nearly $1 billion.

On Tuesday, Raquel Kohler, Ameer Khan and Stephen Ziegler each pled guilty to one count of conspiracy in connection with MBC’s billion dollar securities offering. Kohler also pled guilty to one count of perjury for lying in a deposition.
