11th Circ. Says Transgender Workers Shielded By Federal Law

Law360, New York (March 14, 2012, 6:55 PM EDT) -- Employers should revisit their anti-discrimination policies and practices, attorneys say, in light of a recent Eleventh Circuit ruling that reinforced that companies taking action against transgender workers risk liability for sex discrimination under federal law, attorneys said.
