9th Circ. Lobs Burger King Spit Suit To Wash. High Court

Law360, New York (January 11, 2012, 7:52 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Wednesday asked the Washington Supreme Court to weigh in on a suit alleging a Burger King Corp. employee caused a police officer emotional distress by spitting on a Whopper, seeking guidance on whether state product liability laws apply to uneaten food.
