Pakistan Wind Power Project Gets $142M Boost From IDB

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 2:55 PM EST) -- The Islamic Development Bank has approved $142 million in funding to help build Pakistan's first internationally financed wind power farm, the bank announced Thursday.

The financing is part of $321.8 million that the IDB's board of executive directors greenlighted last week for various development projects in member countries and for Muslim communities in nonmember countries.
