US Sanctions 3 Energy Cos. For Iran Dealings

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 5:45 PM EST) -- Three energy companies based in China, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates were sanctioned by the U.S. government Thursday for selling large quantities of fuel to Iran.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement that Zhuhai Zhenrong Co., Kuo Oil Pte. Ltd. and FAL Oil Co. Ltd. had violated the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability and Divestment Act of 2010.
