Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 10:15 PM ET) -- A New York state judge on Thursday refused to toss a legal malpractice claim against Epstein Becker & Green PC for allegedly failing to adequately defend an insurance broker in underlying contract dispute in which the broker had claimed it lost a potential $400 million judgment.
Judge Barbara R. Kapnick said insurance broker Aramarine Brokerage Inc. had sufficiently pled its claim that Epstein had failed to address certain issues in a Second Circuit appeal in its underlying suit.
