American Airlines Postpones Antitrust Trial Against Sabre

Law360, New York (January 13, 2012, 5:27 PM EST) -- A Texas state court has granted American Airlines' request to postpone the start of a trial on its antitrust claims against ticket distribution company Sabre Holdings Corp. because of the airline's parent company's bankruptcy filing, Sabre said Friday.

The trial of American's claims as well as Sabre's counterclaims against the airline was scheduled to commence in June, but the court has agreed to push the start date back to Aug. 6, Sabre said.
