UBS Wins Bid To Arbitrate In Financial Adviser OT Row

Law360, New York (January 13, 2012, 8:31 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Friday compelled arbitration in a putative class action accusing UBS Wealth Management Americas of failing to pay financial advisers overtime and taking unlawful deductions from workers' wages.

U.S. District Judge Barbara S. Jones granted UBS' motion to compel arbitration in a suit alleging parent company UBS AG and several subsidiaries routinely did not pay employees for hours worked past the 40-hour weekly threshold.
